Império Estate is located in Buritizeiro, a municipality in the Cerrado region of Minas Gerais, where the intense use of technologies and advanced agricultural practices result in sustainable farms with high yields and differentiated products.
Império Estate was acquired in 1998 by professionals with background in coffee; it currently has over 2,200 acres with 1,370 acres being dedicated to the production of high quality Arabicas, with rational use of resources and respect to the environment.
Império was the pioneer farm in the area known as “Alto São Francisco” and its first coffee plantation is still productive to this day. The estate is currently managed by the siblings Paulo Henrique (Junior), Marília and Flávia together with their father Paulo Henrique de Faria who started the coffee producing business.
Império Estate is committed to sustainable agricultural standards and is proud to be UTZ and Rainforest Alliance certified, apart from having the Cerrado Mineiro origin label and the BSCA quality seal.
These certifications crown a serious work of more than one decade dedicated to coffee production with sustainability and social and environmental responsibilities.
